Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray, or line it with parchment paper.
Mixing Ingredients
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the buttermilk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredient bowl and gently fold the mixture using a spatula until no dry flour remains.
Baking
- Transfer the batter to your prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the quick bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, slice and enjoy your quick bread!
Notes
This quick bread can be customized by adding fruits, nuts, or chocolate. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 3 months.
