Wrap Ingredients
  • 1 large tortilla 1 large tortilla (10-inch flour or whole wheat) Choose a tortilla that fits your dietary needs (whole wheat, gluten-free).
  • 4-6 slices 4-6 slices of turkey breast (deli style)
  • 1 ripe avocado 1 ripe avocado (mashed) Mash to desired texture, you can leave it slightly chunky.
  • 1 cup 1 cup baby spinach leaves
  • ½ cup ½ cup sliced tomatoes Slice thinly.
  • ¼ cup ¼ cup sliced cucumber Slice thinly.
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (or your choice of spread)
  • to taste Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 slice Optional: 1 slice of cheese (cheddar or Swiss) Optional.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather all the ingredients. Wash the spinach and cucumbers, then slice the tomatoes and cucumbers thinly.
  2. In a small bowl, mash the ripe avocado to your desired texture, seasoning with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Lay the tortilla on a clean surface and spread the mayonnaise evenly over it, leaving space around the edges.
Assembly
  1. Layer the mashed avocado, turkey slices, spinach, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, and cheese (if using) on the tortilla.
  2. Start from one end and roll the tortilla tightly, tucking the filling in as you go.
  3. Once wrapped, slice the tortilla in half diagonally and serve fresh or wrapped in foil for later.

Notes

To prevent the mashed avocado from browning, add a little lime juice. Customize with your favorite veggies or spreads. Store wrapped in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
